QUANTUM LEAP NO.1

Synopsis:
March 25th, 1968
Memphis, Tennessee
As a twenty-four year-old white female teacher with predominately black students, Sam is presented with three obstacles. First, he must find a way to hold the attention of his students, allowing them to pass the exams. Second, in doing this he can turn around the life of the teacher he has leaped into so that she takes the correct career path. And third, he is in a position to save the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. just days before his assassination - but is Sam really there to save him?
QUANTUM LEAP NO.2

Synopsis:
Monday, June 11, 1962
Cleveland, Ohio
Sam leaps into Willie Jackson, an inmate on death row for killing his wife and her lover in a moment of rage. At the moment he leaps in, Sam is already in the electric chair, but the chair fails and his sentence is put off for one week. With the help of Al, Sam must convince a reporter to give up the identity of his confidential source in the 1962 case of Parker (Dr. Death) Michaels. If he doesn't find a way to solve this problem, the reporter will kill Dr. Michaels in the future, thus putting himself on death row as well and leaving Sam to be executed in the electric chair.
QUANTUM LEAP NO.3

Synopsis:
December 20th, 1963
New York City, New York
In the first story, "He Knows if You've Been Bad or Good," Sam leaps into a man named Nick in New York City. Ziggy can't find any info or background for Nick, but he works as a department store Santa Claus with a man named Mark, who is the ultimate nice-guy and works 80 hours a week to help support the company. He has two small children, the oldest of which is a girl who wishes her father would spend more time with her instead of working and helping neighbors. She has given up on believing in Christmas and has been damaged by the death of her mother. While trying to uncover the real identity of Nick, Sam and Al must work together to bring the family together before a conspiring employee at work frames Mark for theft.
April 2nd, 1968
In the second story, "The Infinite Corridor," Sam inadvertently changes the course of history when he upsets Ellen, an M.I.T. student who will eventually write the thesis which convinces Sam that time-travel is possible! If Sam can't get the leap back on track, Quantum Leap will never become a reality and could create a universe-threatening paradox!
QUANTUM LEAP NO.4

Synopsis:
August 15th, 1958
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Sam leaps into a game show contestant... but he is being given the answers to this rigged quiz show! There is a dilemma: one of his opponents on the show will donate $25,000 to M.I.T. which will result in future research for a chip that controls Al's holographic image... but Ziggy doesn't know which contestant should win to make that happen! If Sam can't figure it out, Al will disappear and the good Dr. Beckett will be on his own. Can he make things right with the shady game show, his host's wife, and the future?
QUANTUM LEAP NO.5

Synopsis:
November 14, 1957
Vinton, North Carolina
Sam leaps into Henry Brisco, a boozing newspaper man. The Starbright and Quantum Leap projects are destined to be wiped from existance if Sam can't help a high school girl, who will later become an important figure in the NASA space program.
QUANTUM LEAP NO.6

Synopsis:
February 12, 1959
Queens, New York
Sam leaps into Cindy Anderson, twin to Sandy Anderson who Al says will be raped after an upcoming dance. Sam must find a way to keep 'his' twin sister from going on the date with the hottest guy in school, Rick Towers. But when an unexpected change in the original history occurs, Sam leaps again before he can prevent the date from happening. Will he still be able to prevent Sandy's rape?
QUANTUM LEAP NO.7

Synopsis:
"Lives on the Fringe"
April 15th, 1974
As a golf pro who just won the Masters Tournament, Sam is faced with the pending death of a fellow golfer, and a shady manager who has rigged his games with the mob.
"Sarah's Got a Gun"
May 19th, 1953
Queens, New York
Driving a school bus is driving Sam crazy when he leaps into the life of a bus driver who will be shot dead by a young girl on his route. She may be getting abused at home, and Sam must try to find a way to stop that situation while avoiding the abusive father and a seedy janitor. Jackie Gleason (character Ralph Kramden) and Art Carney (character Ed Norton) of "The Honeymooners" make an appearance as themselves in a brief kiss with history.
QUANTUM LEAP NO.8

Synopsis:
Project Quantum Leap, 1999
Western Pennsylvania, 1958
This issue takes place both at the Project and in 1958 where Sam has taken the place of a bank robber who's partner will shoot a woman out of jealousy. Back at the project, the leapee tries to escape and Al must convince him to help Sam stop the tragedy.
QUANTUM LEAP NO.9

Synopsis:
June 22, 1969
Massachusetts Correctional Facility for Women
In the comic book sequel to the episode "Goodnight Dear Heart," Sam leaps into Stephanie Haywood, a lesbian woman who was involved in an accidental murder on another leap. Just out of prison, Stephanie has become a photographer who may quickly become famous. Sam must help a transsexual man fight the system to further the cause of homosexuals which ends up at the historical Stonewall Inn, a turning point for the gay and lesbian movement.
QUANTUM LEAP NO.10

Synopsis:
June 13th, 1966
On the eve of the famous Miranda Rights decision by the Supreme Court, Sam finds himself as a foul-mouthed comedian helping his old-time partner find a place in the spotlight. But first he must help the man out of an apartment fire while being harassed by police and a judge who doesn't approve of Sam's vulgar comedy act.
QUANTUM LEAP NO.11

Synopsis:
July, 1958
Fort Claridge, Kentucky
What application does the drug LSD have for the United States military? This is the question Sam may find the answer to as he leaps into the life of a doctor working on a top-secret military project with his real-life uncle. Can Sam expose the dangerous project to save the lives of innocent test subjects?
QUANTUM LEAP NO.12

Synopsis:
Circa 1949
Southern California, Mojave Desert
Sam finds himself in the middle of the Mojave Desert... alone. He has leaped into the life of a seventy-nine year old hermit who's customer base averages two per month. Will he ever find out what he is there to do?
QUANTUM LEAP NO.13

Synopsis:
June 5th, 1963 / Outer Space
August 11th, 1999 / Stallion's Gate, New Mexico
Sam leaps into surroundings remnant of Star Trek as he faces the mirror image of Jifunt, an extra-terrestrial scientist studying an alien race: humans! Onboard his spacecraft are two human specimens, one who Ziggy says will return to Earth the following day claiming that aliens had abducted him and his wife and that the aliens had killed her. Speaking telepathically, Sam tries to communicate with the aliens while Al brings the real Jifunt into the Imaging Chamber to help Dr. Beckett convince his alien counterparts to let the man and woman go. But will they all disappear when the alien leader discovers who Sam really is?
