    Evile was originally known as Motor Militia when Matt Drake and Ben Carter began to cover early Metallica songs. They played their first live show at the Ukrainian Club in Halifax, England.

    Ol Drake played one gig with Destruction as a replacement for the injured Mike Sifringer on September 13th 2009 at the Caos Emergente festival in Portugal.

    The band name is pronounced "eeh-vile", according to vocalist Matt Drake.
