Final Fantasy XIII-2 Coming Next Winter

what is the deal with final fantasy and feathers ?? ever since FF 7 feathers almost always make their way into scenes of the game. What other announcements were made at todays show from Squeenix ?

I really loved the gameplay and battle system that X-2 had but the story was really cheesy. The sequel to XIII is gonna be great because the battle system of XIII actually reminded me of X-2 more than other FF's.

i loved final fantasy..but some of the recent games that are coming out makes me want to burn them and pi** on the ashes...hard to get excited to utter failure.

this one need alot more immersion i felt like i was on one path til the end of the game square could have brought so much more to the table with ff xiii but even though it was so linear it still kept me playing

was pretty dissapointed with FFXIII obviously was some good points like the awesome cutscenes and the battle system was cool but didnt draw me in like all the others. excluding X-2 (thats was shocking). will get part two and hope for the best though!!!

I'm playing the FF XIII now, the story isn't very impressive, but the battle system is very good. Looking foward to th enew game.

well ive played every single ff game apart from the mmorpg (because i refuse to pay to play a game every month!!) so yea im a big fan of the franchise, was a little dissapointed with the latest ff, again there was no world map and it all seems abit linear for my liking still havent completed it yet! i must admit the graphics are awesomt tho (ps3 rocks!) and after pay £100 for the limited edition box set (i can say the missis isnt atall happy bout that ill tel ya!!) im probably still goin to get it, try it out get dissapointed because its not a remake of 7! but o well i can only hope!!

if they remake 7 they'll redo the battle system and people will hate it
or they won't redo the battle system but they'll twist the story and people will hate it
or hopefully they'll revamp the graphics keep the story as it is and people will love it
but the way FF likes to change everything each game (just about)
i certainly hope it doesn't turn into another FF X-2 - that was just... a sequel that didn't need to come out.
FFX(International) however is amazing. FFX + hardmodes for the win. still getting around to beating that one with all the bosses defeated.

 

i've read on some fan forums that FFXIII-2 is supposed to be FFXIII with a darker story. and more about lightning.
