    I'm not sure, but the theories running around about the Mayan prediction for 2012 are plentiful. To be honest the Mayans weren't as smart as people think. Their civilisation eventually collapsed because of drought, exacerbated by deforestation, overuse of resources and overpopulation of their lands.
    Sounds like us, in say around 100-200 years time.

    this movie was a bit blah all around, bad acting terrible special effects, pretty low budget with lots of biblical doomsday speak.
