Thanks guys. I have learnt a lot from your posts. But, the site from which i got the ISO loaer contains a huge collection of PS3 ISOs. I dont understand, if this fake, why some one has uploaded Over 10 GB files on the web. I am sharing the site with you, just visit see for yourself:
Im not going to hunt the net for ps3 iso. If indeed there really are ps3 isos on the net, then it seems scandalous or they are just hoping someone will hack it someday.... I do not want to say its not going to happen because hackers have done amazing things. But I would steer clear of any ps3 iso till you can play them... Most likely they would be fake and the loader will be a virus. Although I spend least amount of time reading about ps3 hacks since I don't own. I think I would have heard about ps3 iso working though.
how do you put this in ur ps3 exactly? got it on the usb stick and even created a PS3 file that contains the content from hea. couldnt load up storage drive on game menue on the xmb bar. only way to view it is go to Vedio and then hit triangle to display whatever is on your stick.. but will not work under GAME in the xmb. help plz what am I doing that is wrong or missing step? I think if this even possible it will be the ultimate system for me whow cares about vedio game console war its wat your console can do. not cheats but capablity.
Being aware of the scandals involved with ps3 iso loaders, I downloaded this file to ensure it was either fake or safe. Instantly my expensive updated legit virus scan with Eset Smart Security 4.2 quarantined the file. I never had time to extract it.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FILES IN ORIGINAL POST. The file PS 3 ISO LOADER Helper.exe is infected.
For information on loading ISO on the ps3 look at the application Open Ps2 Loader 0.7(OPL). OPL 0.7 is a .elf file loaded on a ps3 using Swap Magic DVD version and it does allow you to play .iso without any hardware modifications or flashing over data. It will only work with certain ps3 models. The common misconception is that it plays ps3 iso's. It only plays ps2 iso from usb drives attached to the ps3. I think the dev just added the ability to load iso from pc over network on ps3. The ps2 Isos must be converted with usbutil2.0 or similar app.
