Fear 2 is first person shooter with a bit of Horror thrown in it is medium to hard, harder than Black Ops was. this is a game you want low light to get a feeling of terror I had my video Options turned down and played with the light out to get that scared feeling when something jumped out at you or something happened very unexpectedly this is a very good game at least that was my feeling I would give it a 10 out of 10 you are a an Ops fighting your way through Synthetic Soldiers being controlled by Alma a 15 year old who had been experimented on to give an heighten telekinesis unfortunately she is out of control and has been put into a cell type containment at the time you start the game a nuclear blast has destroyed the city due to the Telekinetic powers of Alma and Black ops from the Corporation that started the experiments is killing everyone and you along with the Syth soldiers controlled by Alma these are not the only things other experiments have gotten out, and are also trying to stop you. your mission is to get to Alma and destroy her this is problematic not only because the city is destroyed and there are soldiers both real and synthetic after you not to mention the Experiments gone aery but also because Alma with her Powers even though she is locked away can control dead soldiers and they will be after you close to proximity to Alma also can turn your body to liquid there are more enemy also all from the Corporation and From Alma. try it if you dare.......

Alma scared the sh!t out of me a bunch of the times.
1 time i almost fell out of my chair.

Yes I know what you mean I almost Jumped out of my skin a few times definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. A game I played on PC that had about the same effect was DOOM 3 if you haven't tried it I recommend it

I've played and beaten Doom 3 over 3 dozen times.

Yes you heard me correctly. at least 36+ times i've beaten Doom 3.

I've played it so much i know where pretty much every enemy will spawn and when.

But I LOVED making Custom Mods for the game.

Have the Pistol shoot rockets or BFG Shots.
Machine shoot grenades or Rockets.

Super Shotgun doing same damage point blank range and far away.
Increase max ammo and magazines for all weapons.
Require NO Kills to use the Soul Cube.
MUCH Brighter flashlight and the radius of how far wide it shines the light.

And many others.

That is very cool I have not finished it I was almost through then my hard drive died that enbded the game luckily though I kept my saves on another hard drive I haven't yet reinstalled it Ive been pretty much collecting games and playing my ps3 and WII But I do intend on finishing it as it is a scary game of which I like anything to do with Horror anyway about those Mods I would very much like to know more about them or where I can get them OK?
Oh and thank you for replying to my thread I intend to write a reveiw each time I finish a game at least on the PS3 I have a hacked psp and NDS and a non hacked Wii I may write reviews of some of those games also but right now I am concentrating on fiishing up the PS3 games I mentioned in another thread

Wow some of the times are completely unbelievable to me 1:09:37 I downloaded the video to watch your right people are fanatics about the game I have played doom 1 and 2 but I am one of those people who take there time looking for upgrades lintel bonuses etc although I have played resident evil 1 on the NDS all the way through just using the knife for the most part and not using any herbs that's about as good as I got time at least for now is not my strong point. By the way are there add ons for Doom 3 I just reinstalled it on my lap top to play today I tried from my save point but am completely lost at where I am at I suppose I could look at a walk through but I may just start from the beginning and put my saves somewhere s else not sure what I am going to do but if you know of any mods I can add onto it I would appreciate it Ok?

hey thank you I decided to continue the game after awhile I figure out where I was and what to do then got slaughtered by the undead. Anyway than you still looking for mods to add on though I found my guide although the configuration of the controls are slightly different maybe because I am using Vista. But hey afterwards when I do finally get though the game I am going to try multi-player online do you do that? if so maybe I can have the pleasure of getting myself slaughtered by you lol as I am sure you are a much better player than myself

You also know Doom 3 has a Third Party Online Coop Right?

Last Man Standing - Last Man Standing - A Doom 3 Modification
Open Coop - Opencoop - Doom3 Mod

But I'd use LMS. It's Alot better.
Besides Online Coop to ALL Doom 3 and RoE maps, they have additional modes like Progression, where you fight your way through the levels and have to kill xx amount of monsters in the area to "progress" further in the map.
They also have some Defense Maps.
There is a few others but it's been awhile since i played.

Both LMS and OpenCoop are Free Doom 3 mods.
Just install them to your Doom 3 Directory and your good to go.

As for DeathMatch, i'm not that good on it since:
A) People ALWAYS Weapon Camp and the game is soo unfair when they get a RL or shotgun and your stuck with a :censored:ty pistol.
B) Idk about anybody else, but i usually get game lag or FPS lag. My Ping would be like less then 50, but still lags, then i die alot because of it.

There was some problems with MP that Id never fixed.
