The clean ROM and the Xenophobia patch didn't work with my DSTT card, but I saw these instructions on another forum to manually hex edit the ROM and it works just fine now. I believe an R4 user there said that he got it to work on two different R4 flavored cards using this method.

Manually hex edit the KH rom:

    1) Download a program called XVI32.

    2) Open KH rom.

    3) At the top click Address, then click Goto, then click Hexidecimal.

    4) Type 010E5DC into the box and click ok.

    5) The first block should be highlighted and have 0C in it.

    6) At the top click Edit, click Overwrite string, click Hex string, in the bottom box type 37.

    7) The box should now say 37.

    8) Click File, then click Save.

Then load that file onto your flashcard as you normally would.

I know this may sound dumb but how exactly do I patch the game and do I even need to patch it if I have a CycloDS with the latest firmware?

I'm glad that everyone who mentions the Acekard is so positive about it.
