looks like the big N is cracking down like $ony. warosk and i still havent got our flash carts...should we still get acecards, or will we have to worry about newer stuff like this not working?

Incidently, why are AceKard2's better then R4? I thought R4 were the best.

I'm a DS noob, but from what i know, R4 isn't a BAD card, it's the fact that the devs for it don't support it like the acecard and cyclods gets support. from my knowledge, the best is cyclods, followed by acecard, then R4...and theres a knockoff thats not worth the plastic it was made from, but i forget the name.

the R4 is basically and has been dead. IIRC they only supporting the r4i and all fixes/fw for the r4 is done by ppl other then the r4 ppl, so its basically just hope and wait for each game/fix

No the R4 is a TERRIBLE flashcart. Every one bought over the last year or so is a fake, it's got sod all features and there have been no decent firmware updates for over a year. Chuck the thing and spend $11 on an Acekard. The Acekard isn't second place to the Cyclo so if you're hunting for a pricier cart there are other options, but the Acekard IS a great budget option.
