    Default Ps2 phat. Modding help

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ON MODDING MY PS2 PHAT?.
I HAVEN'T PLAYED IT IN A WHILE BECAUSE I GOT MY PS3. SO I WANNA START PLAYING IT AGAIN BUT ALL THE GAMES I HAVE, HAVE BEEN BEATEN AND THERE BORING NOW. SO I WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE COULD SHOW ME HOW TO MOD IT WITHOUT INSTALLING A CHIP? BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO WAST MONEY ON BUYING GAMES WHEN I CAN SAVE UP AND BY PS3 GAMES THAT COST SO MUCH FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON . SO CAN I PLEASE GET SOME HELP WITH THIS?

It would be nice if you didn't write in all caps.

You can always sell the games afterward then buy new ones.

Rather than buying games right away, wait for prices to drop.

Mod chip is best for PlayStation 2, as it is less trouble to deal with when it comes to discs.

And...what do you have access with? Do you have GameShark? Action Replay? Memory Card? USB flash drive? A friend's modded PS2? An opened PS2? A plastic card (like a credit card/debit card/gift card/ID card/etc.)?
Any method in modding a PS2 will cost you something...unless you happened to have all the required materials.

A Mod Chip isn't necessarily the best option. Do you have swap magic discs or a cheat device? Do you have a Network Adapter?

Whichever method you'd personally find easiest and cheapest.

They're not, but a mod chip is probably the simplest method if you have no technical know, nor wish to acquire some.

i do wish to acquire some. but the thing is i need someone to be there to tell me if im doing it right. because i don't want to make a wrong move and ruin my ps2.
if there is a way for me to do it without putting anything at risk. i will.
