    Default Resistance: Retribution Infection Mode (Save State)

    I didn't know about this until now but 8thdayregret told me

    Infected mode will allow you to connect the PSP shooter to the PS3 shooter and infect the main character with the Chimeran virus. Once infected the lead will have a new look, new abilities, new weapons and the game itself will get new dialog because people will react to your infection

    as i have the PS3 game i was able to create a savestate for others to use (it's on slot "X"), Enjoy!

    This is for the EUR version of the game (UCES01184) I made the save state on 5.00 m33 -6 so i'm not sure of compatibility with other cfws but it works fine on 5.00m33 -6

    Nope. You can disconnect the PSP from the PS3 immediately after 'infecting' it. As long as the game is running, and hasn't had any files reloaded, I believe it should keep working. You can even put your PSP in Sleep Mode while infected and it should stay that way. I think only the part where you can use a PS3 controller to play Resistance on the PSP might require a constant connection.
    Oh, and I'll be making a CWCheat to make this happen without the PS3, if at all possible, so KoD can add that to this thread as well.

    if anybody wants to to make a unencrypted save with magicsave and send it to me I should be able to convert it to USA

    i think that's true but rather that saving the game the normal way just create a new save state so you continue to get the infected mode if you want to come back to it later
