Freezing, black screen and now what?

Hello my dear forum fellows today i'm going to share my PSP problems with ya so i can hear from you all the possible fixes you guys can come up with,
First thing first... i got a Fat(psp 1000) with 5.00 m33-6 popsloader and CWcheat as my plugins, i have 2x 2gb Sony memory stick pro duo highspeed( i think one is fake but i'd be dam, they look exactly the same) i can get a 4gb sony memory stick pro duo for tests, my w-lan switch is broken (sometimes work and sometimes don't and it won't work along with the recharger)i think for my PSP configuration that's all...
now for the real problens... I've downloded Warhammer 40k squad command and Dinasty warriors Strikeforce, Started playng dinasty warriors ( with umd iso mode set on M33) the game started, choose my character and saved, when the FMV started it jumped all of a suden on both starting FMV but ok, when i started controlling my i noticed (had to be blind not to notice) the game screen was all blacks except for some blazing fires that appeared on it, then i tried reaching for the notice board to get on a mission to see if things would become normal... the board appeared i choose a mission and the game froze up... same thing happened under normal UMD iso mode and with different clock speeds...
Now for the Warhammer game... i got it on the ms (same MS as dinasty warriors) and started playng... it jumped ALL FMV's... then i started, mission 1 ok, mission 2 ok when the loading for mission 3 started the game froze on the loading tested with different UMD iso modes and different clock speed...
Notice: Both games were downloaded from Devils Shadow forum both from KoD's links and both extracted and copied flawlessly... and some might say that it's an MS problem as i do think becouse MGS i downloaded from the site blacks out 2, on a Meryls FMV right before Mantis (and yes ive formated the MS twice)... but i've had some freezing problems with some games on my other MS...

That honestly sounds like Memory Stick issues. I'd really look into getting a genuine Sandisk if i were you, but for now all you can really try doing is formatting the stick and then putting the games you're having trouble with back on it. Obviously the MS access speed boost would be an idea to try in both on and off configurations too. Then try the games with the Sony driver.

Suppose you could always do a speed test on the sticks too...(PSXreality)

I will give it a try on that PSXReality tonight and i will tell you tomorrow what happened i will also try on teh 4gb memory stick thanks osti

Yay very bad news from the test osti...
all my sticks are fakes... the read speed was very low, but the write speed was like a normal Sony MS and my 4gb one looks fake 2 i might get that sandisk ultra II as you said so won't worry over that anymore...
BTW: how do i Boos the read speed?

Av got a problem like that, Naruto downloaded fine, then when i put in the iso file it when onto the psp, but when i started it the psp logo came up then it goes blank then it turns the psp off. Av formatted ma memory stick and reset flash, i really have ran out of things to try expect try downloading it again and seening if it works.

I'd Suggest as osti said doing that speed test on the memory stick it really shown me that my sticks are fakes and working on getting a Sandisk ultra II 8gb that is AWESOME
but got to wait a lil no money atm
i've done lots of things to get my memory stick working but none worked so far

yea al try it out, think av done this better when osti asked me to, i think because ma stick is a 16gb itz hard for games to work gd, i think al get a 4 or 8gb and see how that goes.

16gb o.O it kind depends if its a genuine on and stuff...
But a 8gb one might do betther my 4gb one has a good writing speed but the reading one sucks pretty bad so that's why i will get a 8gb sandisk and besides fake sandisks are very rare...

might go with a sandisk aswell, they sound like there gd.
And i think mine is genuine, but i think al just get a lower one anyway.
