    Megaupload total newbie.. need help oh how to install everything

    hi!

    im new here.. my friend gave me an old psp (fat). i want to install games in the memory card bec umd's are so expensive. but i dont how to.

    i checked the system information..

    system software : 3.90 M33-3

    i took a look in the forums and saw that i have do something with the battery.. but i dont want to do that bec i might break or damage it..

    can anyone help me??

    what do i need to do?

    total noob here so if you give step by step instructions, i will greatly appreciate it..

    if the system info says ur on 3.90 m33-3, you can just download the ISO's and CSO's and place them in the map "ISO" in the beginning (root) of your memory stick.
    Then go to the map 'game' in the psp's main menu (XMB), scroll down and you will see the option 'memory stick' select that option and your game should be there.

    However, some games may require a higher custom firmware to run, so check if each game can run on your firmware, and if it can't upgrade you custom firmware but make sure it's always custom firmware that you upgrade to.

    yeah like l0l0 said, you already have custom firmware, so all you need to do now is upgrade your firmware. you could either got to 5.00 m33-6 or up to 5.50 gen-b2
    either one is really good, but some claim m33 to be more stable.

    You can upgrade To 5.00 M33 - 6 or 5.50 GEN b2 as vamp state so far the choice is personal becouse Sony recently block GEN form psn so wichever you fell comfortable...
    Here is a tutorial step by step made by one of our members anything else just ask
