    Uploading Colin Mcrae Rally 2005 plus crashes psp

    Hey guys i downloaded KOD's cmr 2005+ and whenever i try to enter a race the game crashes and resets the psp just before it finishes loading.Any suggestions?

    I don't have this so can't comment but if you gave details of your firmware, the MS you're using (and whether it's genuine or not) and whether your PSP is phat or slim, someone who has might be able to help.

    Sounds a bit like you have a fake MS.

    hm...i think i have a smilar problem back then.u just cant play the carreer mode if im not mistaken.but the other works fine.

    um ok i have a psp-1001,sony memory stick pro duo 8gb(bought this off ebay from china),custom firmware 5.00 m33-6.im not sure which mode i was trying to play,all i remember is everytime i try to run the race it loads then off my psp goes.doesnt happen with any other games just this one.

    Is the MS Magic Gate Supported? (I'm guessing no....as in fake). Do you have another MS?

    well it says it is magicgate on the side of it,along with the sony logo and all.i have other sticks but they are too small to fit the game i think,only 3 512mbs and a 32 mb(definately cant hold anything lol)

    When you turn on your PSP and select Information about the Memory Stick does it say magic gate supported? (you hit the triangle button on the Memory stick icon to bring up the info)

    oh ok,it says unknown,musta been a fake then,i picked it up for like $22 US from a seller from hongkong.

    You're probably having some issues related to the stick then....See if you can get hold of another MS...i'd recommend a Sandisk Ultra II. Newegg seems to be a recommended retailer if you need a reliable source.

    thanks dude ill look into it,i was saving pennies aside to get a 16gb stick but i guess a reliable genuine 8gb is good for now.
