downloaded and installed on an official sony 2 gb card i got today ( had one hell of a hassle getting it to boot up from sleep, solved by making it a Pandora stick) game works just fine on 5.0 m33-3, no issues at all.

Atlus more formally announces Crimson Gem Saga for PSP

Old news since it's now been released but relevant nevertheless...

"When last we left our intrepid PSP RPG, Crimson Gem Saga was only slightly announced, with nary an asset to ogle. All that is about to change...

    *drums*

We're back to finish the job we started when we announced Crimson Gem Saga for North America, and this time, we're not taking any prisoners. Err...we're releasing screens and stuff, rather. Sorry, carried away.

CGS offers turn-based RPG combat at its most fun. Attack your enemies before they attack you, master the Critical Combo System to deliver multiple hits and pile on the damage, or set up team attacks with your allies for massive dual, triple, or full-team attacks. Moreover, we've gone all-out with the localization for Crimson Gem Saga, and by "all-out", we're of course referring to the nearly 1000 lines of extra voice work not present in any other region's release of the game, added just to this version. That's over 500% more voice, just for you, North American Faithful! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE LOVED!?

Speaking of lovingly caressing, Faithful, I want you to know that I wrote this entire e-blast with my Raiho plushie clamped against my cold, steel chassis. I'm not certain if the emotions this plushie makes me feel are healthy, but if this procedure is deemed to be in error, I do not wish to be debugged and recompiled. Have you pre-ordered yet?"

IGN review on Crimson Gem Saga:

You must click the Thank You before you can see the data contained here. You will not see the thank you button until you register and activate your account.
    .

8.4 seems like its been a while since psp got a good rpg.

I was wondering though, is this the official english release that just came out in the US or the Asia one with the english subs layered on it with really bad grammar lol?

And if the question has been answered before my mistake but on top of that, is there any difference between the two like voice acting and such? Im really trying not to play dragoneers aria so looking forward to this :P
