Major difference between 08 and 09, 08 sucked smelly ox balls, 09 is pretty damn cool so far, there seems to be no storyline in the career mode that I can see, you basically move on from one title hunt to another, swapping between shows in the process, but you get to pick your opponents, from a list of 4 or 5 at a time, and you get to select the match type, the more you advance the more match types you have to choose from.

CAF ( create a finisher) is probably the best addition to wwe games in years. I like it a lot, you can make some pretty amusing finishers or twist and turn some already existing ones. CAW is pretty much the same as it has always been, very limited on the PSP. You can also alter rosters prior to entering season mode, put the title on whoever or put it on who it should be on accoring to the current show, you can shift talent between shows as well. locker room seems to be gone as does wwe shop but those are all things I can forgive because finally wwe has returned gameplay to a priority as it used to be back on Here Comes the Pain. All in all though I would give this a 7.5/10, which is far better than what I gave 08 (4/10)
