Hmmm....that sounds less like a game error and more like your Memory Stick causing the issue. If you explore the stick on your PC are the saves still there or are they completely gone? Obviously i can't say for sure but i'd reason that if the game was to do anything to saves it'd corrupt them rather than actually erase selective data from your stick, so to me it almost sounds like a fake or slow memory stick.

Don't think there is anything wrong with the stick as I have not had any issues before with 50+ iso's in my collection. It's definitely not a fake as It was brought from a top electronics store in my country and not from eBay etc.
What happened initially is that my wife and myself both had a save for the game, one day when I loaded it up there was only one save remaining. Another time when I went to load the game It brought up a list of every game save on my stick, can't say I remember that happening before with any other games.
Anyway It could just be some freak event, I'm just a bit suspicious since it's a beta. It's still keeping my one save so that's enough for me. One great game anyway, lots of extra features in contrast to the first one.
