So can someone clarify....they just omitted the protection on the EU release? Or has this been patched?

Working here - even using my EU save.

Games says it only requires 5.50 firmware - the eboot has a creation date of 2009/10/31

The usa looks like a straight dowwnload of the full game, and not a demo then unlock dlc like the eur version

Which then means it may still require Yoshiro's v4 Patcher for 5.03 GEN and 5.00M33-6.
