the game is alright....controls are somewhat like smash tv...you know the old arcade agme where the action buttons determined which direction you fire in? kinda like the dracula undead awakening mini...which i think is better than this game.
its kind of a side scroller...in a way...i guess isometric view...hard to describe...some parts there IS depth to the map....like you have to go up or down an alley. but its NOTHING like the shooter that its supposed to be.
easy comparison....you know how when assassins creed was made portable? the ds version was a joke, and the psp one plays pretty much like the console version? well...this is the fail DS version of army of two...only its on psp...
when you turn a popular shooter into a sidescrolling arcade style game...this is what you get...and the story isnt even captivating enough to get you to keep playing. OH....as an added bonus...if you play multiplayer, the host is the only one that can save their game...the client is just there for fun...not actually advancing in the campaign as its not saveable. like i said before...the only cool thing about this is being able to unlock dante from dante's inferno as it gives us hope that the game is nearing completion and wont get cancelled. (referring to the psp version) although if they do to inferno compared to the console version what they did to this game...it too will be barely enjoyable. all in all its good for a look and a lil playthrough, but not somethin youll really get heavily involved in...at this moment its back to the DS for some good gameplay...until silent hill comes out.

k sounds like this aint the right game for me. i'll just stick with PES10 , motorstorm and assasians creed for now thanks a lot vamp.

You mean the fail DS Assassin's Creed 2 that was better received than the PSP Assassin's Creed, and rated higher by most reviewers?

From the things i've read about this i'd probably rather play Chaos Engine anyway....

So I finally got around to playing this game.... It lasted about 5 minutes before I deleted it from my memory stick. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. While I like the concept and this could have been a really good game. I hated the side scrolling game play. The graphics were quite poor. The shooting reminded me of the old war game with tanks for the 1st Atari!!! Unfortunately it was executed poorly for the PSP. Too bad. I really felt let down with this one. There really is no excuse for coming out with this type/quality of game in this day and age. I give this game a rating of 1 (only because zero or negative 10 were not voting options).lol

cmon now...OF COURSE DS was better recieved...they primarily target an audience who is too naive or young to tell the difference. all they know is....wow they made that game thats for my 360 or ps3 and put it on my DS mommy i gotta have it.
now i have a flashcart for the DS....which system do you think i play assassins creed on? ....yeah i didnt even waste the little bandwidth iot would take to get that one.
marketing vs actual gameplay.. you have to separate those in the handheld (or even next gen market really) cause if all we played were the top selling stuff...all we would have at home is a DS with some fashion game or nintendogs on it for handheld and our only console would be the wii and we'd be rockin wii play and wii fit day and night lol (cause you know wii play was the top seller FOREVER...so it must be the shyt)

Personally I don't like the DS and Assassion Creed for it was a total pile. And IMHO Army of Two for PSP is a total pile which is a shame. Only for those with the most extreme bro-mance! lollollollollol

whitewarrior...im glad to see that someone else knows where im comin from lol....dont get me wrong...i love my DS too....but some games just shouldnt be atempted on the system. itll never happen cause its a sony exclusive...but could you imagine god of war ported to ds...lol....leave the action heavy games on the appropriate system. by the way...seein as these new games comin out are patchable, i wonder if the eur or usa version of kingdom hearts will be playable on cfw...or peacewalker for that matter...
