This game is like no other; I mean, every Sting developed games create an own genre.
This Riviera Promised Land was created back in the Wonderswn era...maybe someone remember that strange but good handheld console.
From this same serie there are other two game, what we call "Dept. Heaven"; they are Riviera, then Yggdra Union ((Psp)),and last Knights in the Nightmare ((Nds)).
But what makes this 3 games awesome was their originality, the crazy engaging and magic combat system, different for every title, but with the same amount of innovation.
Everyone of us who consider himself an Rpglover should play everyone of those titles, because there is little else that really worth playing, Unfortunately, since video games have become attractive to casual gamers, they have halved their quality, unfortunately, today there are only lighting effects, explosions, 3D fkd graphics, but .... where's the gameplay?
Where are those great games in 2d?
They are gone ... ... forever..
