I saw this little titbit on Wednesday on Sony Insider and so have had some time to think about it. Guess what, i'm still Go negative! If the battery life is supposed to be shorter than the PSP 2000/3000 on standard settings, just imagine what cranking up the clock again is going to do to it! How can a media device be portable if it last for 2 to 3 hours (citation needed ) when it's not connected to a power source?

all and all its still a +1 for the go, but like you said about the battery, and for the problems we facing right now with the psp3000/ps3 (hack-wise) god only knows if well ever see this 480....i still think itll be a looooooooooooooong time if ever that i invest in 1.

Ignoring hackability....The thing is i'm also very unimpressed with all the PSX titles being put on the PSN. There's no getting around the fact that they're inferior to PSP titles in most cases, and if we get only a smattering of true PSP releases on the PSN, then the paucity of games on the Go just begs the question "What am i really paying for?". Since you're tied into Digital Content it lives and dies by that, and having loads of PSX games that are 10 years old isn't my idea of a new and improved (and expensive) console.

    And back to PSPNo...

Looks like all that excitement over PSPgo's faster (but likely to be underused) 480MHz processor is all for naught. Our friends at Engadget Japan have gotten in contact with Sony Computer Entertainment and been informed that the Maximum clock frequency mentioned here is for the USB device, not the CPU. All those dreams of hacked firmware to unlock more power? Better hold that thought for now.

I was going to mention that, very amusing lol. Still not something i am interested in. unless it gets hacked or they bring something truly awesome out for it. Sad to say the chances of that happening are pretty remote.
