Stick with 5.00M33-6. Anything that corrupts the flash on attempted removal with Hellcats Recovery Flasher could do almost anything if it meets an exception it doesn't like the look of.

: I agree with you osti, which is why I highly suggest sticking with m33 for as long as humanly possible, or not

: Because the MS speed up hack is great, because reflashing different firmware is easy and doesn't require a Pandora, because the only reason to use GEN is a couple of games and sub folders and because no homebrew got broken by using 5.00M33-6.

: GEN is built on M33 so it needs the speedhack just as much, Recovery Flasher won't uninstall GEN B and the firmware itself seems much like the PSPGo...kind of pointless.

: lol good point osti...i personally have experienced no bugs with it, but it was all just a quick fix to play a couple more games and fix the psn. if im not mistaken, gen doesnt use the speedhack per se, it's built into it i believe.
: Which if true is bad since it needs to be optional as it can cause problems in some instances.....

: i havent had any problems at all. i prolly dont run the same things other ppl do, but a lot of plugins and all emulators workin just fine on it. dont matter though...gen 5.50 it at a roadblock now just like m33 was.
