5.55+ Decrypted Games Compatible with 4.01 M33

Because of the long-standing good work of DAX and the widespread reliance on M33 firmwares lots of people have no wish to jump ship to GEN firmware. Up until recently many thought that this would mean the end of compatibly with new releases.....however....

It seems that 4.01 M33 will play these decrypted games and the PSP Minis. People have flashed 4.01 M33 and report that it works so for those reticent to board the GEN train it seems there is an alternative. Additionally, although untested so far, it might be possible to use a DCv6 or v7 MMS to simulate 4.01M33 on a higher firmware such as 5.00M33-6 using the Test M33 option (i.e no flashing).

To that end can any M33 users please report any results of tests along this avenue with games rendered previously unplayable by 5.00M33-6....so that's probably Il Sturmovik and on....

So to repeat....the games still need to be decrypted with Yoshiro's tool, but must then be run on some form of 4.01. Report away...

having problems with obscure....and the "minis" . Not sure if they can be decrypted and ran like this.So if someone here got decryption skillz and wanna post me a link to a decrypted mini, itd be great.

now all my Minis are working on 4.01 M33-2, all updates ripped to make them smaller also, please post your findings here if these work on 5.00 M33-6 anybody? don't have that firmware on any of my psp's anymore, thanks in advance if someone does
