It has been a little more than two weeks since MaTiAz made public the 5.03 Tiff Exploit that got many PSP users attention by running a “Hello World” proof of concept via that exploit. Fast forward to today and Davee and Team Typhoon have been hard at work pushing closer to what every PSP owner with official 5.03 firmware wants, a Homebrew Enabler, or HEN The above video shows you an official 5.03 firmware PSP 2003 running the Tiff Exploit and booting into a HEN environment. The video proves that the code survives a reboot and the system software and MAC address can be changed. This is something that that can only be done with a kernel exploit. A video launching homebrew will be posted later.
