Devils Shadow PSX Downloads: Chrono Cross

    Default Chrono Cross




    Start the game using Pops 3.40 after defeating the first Boss Battle ( Mama Komodo ) save and switch to Pops 3.71 or Pops 4.01 since those two work almost equally when it comes to emulating the PS1. I do not know if this will work for firmware 5.03 Gen A.


    The story of Chrono Cross focuses on a teenage boy named Serge and a theme of parallel worlds. Faced with an alternate reality in which he died as a child, Serge endeavors to discover the truth of the two worlds' divergence. The flashy thief Kid and many other characters assist him in his travels around the tropical archipelago El Nido. Struggling to uncover his past and find the mysterious Frozen Flame, Serge is chiefly challenged by Lynx, a shadowy antagonist working to apprehend him.

    Doesn't work with my 5.00 M33-6 using Popsloader 3.40

    Edit: Just tried 4.01 and it does start up with that one...but freezes after the Square electronic arts screen...

    Edit Edit: Loading from Disc 2 seems to work...

    Edit Edit Edit: BUT IT DOESN'T FEEZE AFTER THE MOTHER KOMODO!

    sh!t. I lost my copy of this upload so I will have to get another copy to re-up it. Will post back soon.

    edit~ created a new eboot with PSGUI 3 beta and made a remarkable discovery.... when playing the first part of the game, on pops 3.4 as recommended to get past the mama komodo crash, after repeated failures to get passed the crash I decided to play the game from flash, meaning no pops were used.... game works remarkably well on 5.50 gen-d3 (v4) got past the crash point with ease. new eboot uploading soon.
