Hey guys, I'm currently using 5.02 M33 and for some reason most of the games won't work.
Whenever I tried to boot Resident Evil 2, or MGS1, or Marvel Vs Capcom or even Silent Bomber.
It boots to popsloader, then gives me a blank screen and tells me that the game failed to load and gives me a error code with some long number. :S
I even reset my settings back to the default through the recovery menu and still nothing.
Crash team racing and pepsi man do work though.

It boots to the Popsloader pops selection menu? Have you tried all the pops versions for the games you are having issues with?

I had a list that told me which popsloader I should use for certain games..
It keeps giving a "game could not be started 80020148" error always.
It won't even boot to the sony logo thing.
I tried placing the keys.bin file from the games that did work into the folders but that didn't help either.

Slow down a sec... when you launch a new PSP game you should see a menu asking you which pops you want to use (also accessible by holding down the R shoulder button as soon as you select the PSX game you want to load). Do you get that menu?

Error 80020148 pertains to an unsupported prx so it sounds like you're using the wrong popsloader for your firmware.

I'm using the one I got off the start of this thread (The one for 5.00 m33 and above), I have two games that work though without an issue. One being Crash team racing and the other being Pepsi man.
And yeah, I get the menu that lets me choose which popsloader I want, it gives me a list of options from 3.00 till 4.01 and an original from flash option.

Disable your other plugins in your recovery menu and just leave popsloader enabled. Then try again.

Transfer you content, Format the Memory Stick and copy back the data. You need to ensure that Popsloader is the first plugin in the txt file too. Also if you have a fake memory stick, or a slow one popsloader is notorious for generating problems.

What MS are you using and is it genuine?
