    some games work better with the keys.bin file. Depends on the game. What is the exact name of the folder & have you tried renaming it? The name on the folder may be too long. Try something like Resident Evil DC or something like that.

    the first folder is named resident evil 1
    then you click it and theres another folder called resident evil 1
    then sles00969, after I click that folder it shows my eboot and that one is called eboot.pbp. I have not tried renaming it. Which one should i rename? And name it what?

    I don't think it had to do with keys.bin file.
    Actually it's not that important and don't affect the eBoot performance. AFAIK, only old CFW need the keys.bin file.

    @Ghost_Face
    Perhaps because the file has extra *resident evil 1* folder. So, Just drag the *sles00969* folder to the PSP/GAME directory.

    From what I got by your description, you have an eboot inside a folder named resident evil 1 sles00969,then another folder around that named resident evil 1. Correct? Open the one named resident evil 1 and take out the one named resident evil 1 sles00969 and rename it to: Resident Evil Dc Put that in the game folder. you only need 1 folder around the eboot, not 2.

    Ok here it goes
    resident evil 1= resident evil 1= slsl9004 = eboot.bpn
    so what I did was rename slsl9004 to resident evil dc and dragged that to my game folder and it worked.
    Thnx for the help guys

    For the record you need pops for EVERY PSX game since it's the PSX emulator coded into the firmware...popsloader is the plugin you may or may not need to load different pops versions to aid compatibility. And keys.bin is required dependent on how the eboot was made (whether the base or the data file was utilised)

    @Ghost_Face
    Congrats Good to hear that.

    Also, for the record there is no need to rename the folder. SLES00969 is an ID for the European's RE: Director's Cut game. So, it will works just fine.
    Renaming is okay as long as the name character is not very long. If not, you will going to get corrupted data as well.

    Well, for the record for the record, there is. When you have ever 50 eboots in front of you all just titled by game ID, it gets a bit difficult finding the one you need when they all look the same. IDK, but its a heck of alot easier picking out which game in a list is Crash Bandicoot when its named Crash Bandicoot and not named SLUS12345.

    lol Haha~
    Okay, now you understand me wrong (eh, I somehow fell that is coming). But, come on you are better than that. You know that is not the OP subject/ problem. You know we didn't talk about that. You know it's not about picking out which eBoots to play. That is way out of context already.

    Re-read my whole post (or the first three sentences) again.

    Also, for the record there is no need to rename the folder. SLES00969 is an ID for the European's RE: Director's Cut game. So, it will works just fine.
    What I simply mean is the RE: DC's eBoot which he downloaded will works and plays just fine even if he didn't rename the *sles00969* folder. That its. No more than that. (And that is also the case for most eBoots).

    So, for the record for the record for the record, there is no need to rename the folder to make the eBoots work.

    Finding, picking and organizing eBoots... That is a whole different story.
