    hi

    i downloaded this game off of Katz like 2 or 3 weeks ago and i've been playin up till now without any problem.

    however there is a place where the psp just stops responding to any control (mute/unmute - home ) and the screen just freezes. This happens when Tiffa is trying to escape aboard the plane with Barret right after the Weapon attacks junon.

    any help?

    i've been playing it with the eboot 3.72 plugin, do u think trying the 3.71 plugin might do the trick? if so, how do i tell my psp to switch plugins for this game?

    Yes, pops 3.71 will do the trick.
    To switch the plugins simply push and hold shoulder R button after you select PSX Eboot game i.e. FF VII till a screen list of different pops appear. Bare in mind though you first must already have pops 3.71 in your *SEPLUGINS* folder.

    hey guys

    so i solved my problem, it wasnt coming from the pops.

    anyway, i thought id share my solution with u, u guys might encounter the same problem someday :)

    so, it was because my eboot file was fragmented on my memory stick. so i formatted the memory stick (backuping my saves first), then i copied the eboot as soon as i formatted, which put it physically on the begining of the memory stick as one fragment. and no more problems :)

    Glad to see that you formatted the stick and didn't defragment it. Although with flash memory fragmentation seldom causes issues since it's soild state.

    hey guys, sorry to bother you again

    i am having trouble with something. i got tifa's, cloud's and vincent's final limit breaks as items. im trying to use each limit on its specific player, not working thought. im sure im assigning the right limits to the right characters.

    can anyone of u guys tell me how to give a character his final limit through the item menu?

    You have unlocked all the preceding limit breaks first i assume as that is a pre-requisite to acquiring the final techniques.

    @biosk4hvd
    What Ostinato said. Limit breaks (Level 1 to 3) are learned either by using the first level Limit Break a number of times, or by killing a certain amount of enemies with that character, which then will learn you the next Limit Level.

    But, to be able to teach a Level 4 Limit to a character, you'll first need to have learned all previous Limit Breaks on that character.
