Xenogears? Anyone else psyched as hell?

Totally cant wait for this came to pop out on the Wii. Should be only a few months, if that, away from coming out. I'll be the first person to port that straight onto my hard drive and upload to like 50 mirrors.

Is this as in the original? Have you played it? Personally (having just finished it and owning the original PSX release...pics can be provided for the naysayers!) i find Xenogears IMMENSELY over-rated and don't really understand where all the love for it comes from.

Some people believe true art is incomprehensible, and it doesn't get much more incomprehensible than Xenogears.

Xenogears is comprehensible...it's just the fact that you need to read all the Ultimania stuff, and follow all the previous episodes to have much clue what the point of everything really is. Plus the localisation is one of the worst i've ever seen in an RPG.

I haven't played the game in so long I don't really remember. I have to wonder how Xenogear's localization compares to Suikoden II's. The only thing I remember from Xenogears is that the voice acting was terrible. The leading male didn't sound like a leading male. He sounded like a munchkin. He shouldn't have been saying "I am a coward!" He should have been saying "I represent the lollipop guild!"
