i made sure the applicatio that makes the access point is allowed by the firewall, i tried to enter manual but failed so i just do auto scans now and yes its setup to be shared. all to the best of my ability Lol im really confused.

: Well entering all the settings manually is the way to go and what i would recommend to anyone in the event of any problems, especially those that you describe where the signal is detected but the connection is refused. Just smacks of an incorrect configuration.

: have you entererd the console ip address on your dmz settings?
