A Wii bit of info. please....

I'm thinking about getting a Wii but don't really know a whole lot about what kind of things a person can do with it in terms of modding and games.Does the Wii take memory cards, and if it does what kid of stuff can I put on em?

the wii can take SD cards. U can also soft mod or hard mod the wii to play homebrew games, and even games u download i believe. The wii can also play Dreamcast games anyway, but u need a dreamcast controller and memory card

i posted a guide on how to soft mod ur Wii, which is basically modding it without putting a special chip in it, i will post the guide again for u

no worries man. U need to have all the hardware and stuff to make it work. I have a wii, but my mums bf brought it, so i dnt want to mod it cos technically it aint mine lol

Hi, you do have access to that part of the forum but you do not see any games because no one has posted any, i'll try and find some wii uploaders to give us some content,

If anyone else knows any wii game uploaders please try and get them to join

Tell me how to upload and i will put up about 10 games the only problem being that our internet only gets 15gb a month and each game is like 4-5GB??

Also u can easily install howmebrew without moding yor wii

Go to wii brew.com for more info but its called the twilight hack you use zelda the twilight princess to install the homebrew channel form there it is simple to install homebrew apps eg Nes emu, 64 emu ( but its crap ), media player plays most kinds of movies AVI, mp4,mpeg ( Which is good cause i can finally watch my psp movies on the bigscreen ) and the best yet a dvd player so you dont have to swap av channels every time u wanna watch a dvd. Wii are definately worht it but ONLY with homebrew otherwise its bad

p.s you dont need to buy zelda just borrow it from a video store, you run it once and never need it again
