    Default Decompressing certain files

Some of the files i download, once ive unrared them, extract to a folder where the files need to be unrared again. By this i mean for example, a movie or game will extract itself into about 90 odd smaller files that need to be extracted again. BUT, some of the files are winrar files and some are "R" files. The first 30 files will be of winrar format and then the other files will be labelled R31,R32 etc and then right at the bottom will be one more rar file.

In the past ive only ever highlighted all the rar files and extracted those to get the iso or movie file i need, which makes me think, are all the "R" files a waste of download?
I ask this because for the first time, ive gone to download a wii iso with my download manager and its given me half the files to select for download as rar files and the other half as "R" files. Now as i only ever use the rar files, do i need to download the "R" type files too.?

i have come across this in the past, and as far as im aware, you need both the R and the Rar files to extract. Usually all the files will be numbered; both the r and rar. Right click on the first file, whether its R or Rar, and then click extract here

Yeah, i usually highlight only the rar files and extract them and that seems to work. The thing is, i now have the option to either download ALL the r and rar files or download one or the other to save dl time. Yeah i know, im trying to be tight but if im only extracting from the rar files, do i really need to dl the r files as well?

If they're all part of a single compression and split process then without all the components you'll get a CRC error when you try to decompress.
