    Default pal/ntsc

    My wii is currently soft modded. The games that i have downloaded are pal. Will ntsc games work on my wii?

    Bearing in mind i know very little about the Wii the answer is yes if you patch them first with RegionFrii, use AnyRegionChanger1.1b_mod5 and CIOScorp, Starfall, Pre-loader etc...however some of these options may break certain games (i.e Preloader)...someone else is bound to have a better piece of advice for you though if you wait a while....

    i have read around a bit on this, and seems you can use any region changer to change make them play. The other alternative seems to be getting your wii chipped

    so far ive only tried pal games as i dont wanna waste a 5gb download on something that may not work.

    These are the games i have and how they worked:

    Thru the HBC using the backup "gamma fix 002" launcher:
    Pro Evo Soccer 2009
    Don KIng Boxing
    Madworld

    Games that worked thru the backup channel
    Mario party8
    Vertigo
    Pool Party
    Family Ski and Snowboarding
    Tiger Woods PGA 2009

    So far ive been lucky and had none that wont work. And apart from mario and pool party. all the other games are either brand new releases or are not out yet (UK).
