Should be interesting to read. Though it's 2 yrs old wonder if this would apply to the new slim version of the system.
one thing thats sucks for me is i have had access to many different computers but none of them would would let the firmware flash the drive. Agh.
Its a small world after all.
Thanks...
I tried using this and followed Textbook's guide to opening the 360 around a year and a half ago. I attempted to mod my Elite. I didn't have the patience and rushed into things know fully knowing what I was doing, and F'd my 360 up. For the last year my 360 has been disassembled and not usable, just sitting in a box somewhere around here. I thought I created a backup of my drive's key, but I still don't know to this day if I actually did. So every time I try to play an official 360 disc, it tells me to "insert this disc into an xbox 360". So I messed up the firmware that was married to the motherboard and drive. I still have what is thought to be the backed up firmware key if anyone is interested in helping me. I have an Arcade version that replaced my old one, so no worries if no help comes my way.
thanks for the info, but just as vampire said, i just want it to take a quick peek to see what it takes, but i think i would just keep spending 60 dollars for a game!
360s are going to be 100$ at gamestop tomorrow. i need to read up on this subject.
wowthank you. i was searching for this
