Xbox 360 Modding
I have been interested in getting an Xbox 360 for a while now. A few great exclusives I would love to play through. My question is, what method should I use that will require the least amount of effort/resources to allow the console to run backup games either by discs or hard drive? I am willing to open up the console if required. Preferably no soldering involved. I have read a lot of tutorials a few months back so I am more or less educated on a few of the methods. Throw me some links or your own recommendations/comments/etc. Thanks.

best bet is to buy an old elite or premium console, these have easier drives to hack and are less likely to RROD, if possible take the face plate off before you buy it and look just under the right hand side of the tray, if you see a white wire then this is the one you want because it has abenq drive in it and are the best drives for reading backups, if you see a yellow wire then drop the console and get outta there!!! thats a lite-on and will require tools to be made or purchased

And if I get my hands on a Benq drive, what method I use from there?

there are plenty of guides out there but to be honest the best most detailed guide comes with the program jungle flasher and JF is needed to flash your drive
